Thanks for the warm welcome everyone - I'll get some car pics up in time - once the garage has at least the first coat of paint throughout.
Roger440 - It's encouraging to see more UK members on here as our climate is instrumental in some of the decisions we have to make.
bazzateer - Yes, Essex born and bread and absolutely love the county. I'm afraid no Fords are present in my fleet. I once had a Fiesta, spent a fair amount on it and when I went to make the next step, Ford were making Front Wheel Drive RS's, so they most probably lost me as a customer for the following 15 years on that basis.
The plan in General:
- Install lighting at ground, waist, head (or just above) height and much more in the ceiling
- Insulate the pitched roof, board it off and add shelving
- Insulate the ceiling and board off properly
- Insulate the walls and install plasterboard to a perfect smooth finish
- Add climate control to help heat/cool the room all year round
- Add additional electrical points
- Fit hard air lines and a compressor
- Build in a properly built container to hold any engine oils/corrosive fluids so they are correctly stored
- Fit some speakers
- Possibly run water to enable me to run a hose for a pressure washer
Thoughts & comments welcome.
