C-man box drawer drag?

Hi. Having a smallish problem with new Craftsman top chest I got. It is the ball bearing model, 26" wide I think.

Problem is when loaded the bottom drawer seems to drag on the bottom of the box or the lip below the drawer. This chest is not the grip latch model if that matters.

Mostly just annoying, but it is brand new although it was purchased almost a year ago I just took it out of the box.

Is this simple? Maybe just remove it and reinstall it correctly? Return it and request a brand new one?

Did a quick search and didn't find any threads specific to this. Thanks for any help.

Does the drawer that is dragging allow for a second drawer slide? On my Cman GL, the full length and bottom drawers ( on my top, intermediate & bottom box) all allow for a second set of drawer slides. On the sides of my drawers, there were holes and slots ready for a adding an additional set. When I added the second set it made a huge difference on my drawers that carry a lot.

It certainly has 40-50 pounds in it at least. Too much?

edit: I will add that one of the other drawers has more in it, but I don't think it has anything to rub on. That lip on the bottom seems to be the culprit. Will pull the drawer tomorrow and see if I can find some paint rub or something.

hmm strange
i would think that it could hold that i believe they are rated for 75 but don't quote me on it (its 2 am where i live and im a little groggy haha)

i would pull the tools and make sure that your slides are tight and secure......that all i can really think of right now other than MKD's idea if applicable
