I think $35 is about all these are really worth. I bought one a few years ago and promptly returned it. The metal is very thin and I wouldn't think about putting even a moderately loaded top box on it. It would be ok for storing lightweight things I suppose.

I have it as my middle box in the same configuration as shown in the pictures. Have all boxes loaded pretty heavy and haven't had any issues in nearly 10 years. I understand it's not a high end box but it does what I expected it to do...

I used one of these under my welding table. They are kind of light duty but it worked great for storing grinding disks and stuff I use at the welding table.

I'm not expecting Snap On quality, but for what it is I think 35 in a steal. now that I look at my options as to where to place this one in the garage, I see a few places where a second or third box could go...lol

12 inches deep, and paper thin metal. Pass.

I have a bunch of Craftsman middle chests (heavier gauge) stacked inside metal shelving, and use them like parts and tools drawers. They work great, but I only buy 16 inch or 18 inch deep. 12 inches is just to limited in cubic space.

One dead giveaway that it is paper thin is that it doesn't have the lip around the edges. When they are flat across the top, with no lip, they are basically tin cans.

Hey, I have 2 older units ( 3 drawer Griplatch ) and now 1 recent buy of the 3 drawer ball bearing slide showing up on sale this week for $ 69.99, ( which is as cheap as they come ) if you can move up in price you pick up a really good quality 16" deep box and one extra drawer. I looked at the one in your link in the store, and like others say - it's quite a bit lighter than one expects.
