What is the hot ticket for CA type glue? I feel like everything I buy nowadays takes effing forever to set. In the good 'ole days it dried fast n strong.

Maybe I need to enter the world of accelerants..

I've been using the 2 part with the activator spray. haven't had any not work, tend to buy from mobilesolutions. I find if I buy bigger quantities it ends up going bad before I use it.

This is good stuff. A lot of model builder use this brand and they make it in different viscosities from thick to thin to gel. They make a accelerator for it and it will set up almost immediately when you hit it with the accelerator. https://www.zapglue.com/ca. I use the thin all the time to fix cracked firearm stocks at work. It seeps through the wood grain and makes a very strong repair.

I'll be using this 2P-10 tomorrow. I have it in a few different viscosities, this is the jel which is the thickest one they offer. The activator does help it fire off fast. I like the product. 20211017_222427.jpg

Here's some good information.

We use Zap in the medium viscosity and thin viscosity at work. I prefer zip kicker to zap accelerator.
Water thin cyanoacrylate will set fast. I like to place the parts together and then allow the cyanoacrylate to wick in.

Back when I was turning pens, I used a metric S ton of CA glue of all types for a 20 layer finish that I'd perfected. The best and most consistent CA products I found were from Satellite City. You can buy them from Amazon or directly from their website. The aerosol activator is great, and I liked that you could be new caps by the dozen. Makes dealing with plugged up bottles much easier.

I've been using Pacer products for literally decades. I've been using the same bottle of Zip Kicker I got from my local hobby shop for over 20 years. That being said, after looking at the Satellite City stuff, I may be making an impulse purchase in the near future...
