cabinet doors

i want to do something with the kitchen cabinet doors but dont want to go all out and spend a couple of grand on them. I was thinking of taking some crown molding and cutting it to size and finish nailin it to the doors (they are just plain flat doors painted white right now) and then repainting everything. Has anyone ever done this and could you throw some pics up?

ok good point, what i should have said was trim molding with a pattern in it...crown molding would be kinda hard LOL

Gotcha...I figured that had to be what you meant. Done right, I think it looks good, especially on a slab door.

my biggest concern is it looking akward and cheap...so thats why pics would help me out a lot
