Got a chance to buy New black masterbrand cabinets 13' base and 19' wall for $1,500. What do you think?

Take a look at what $1500 would buy you at Sam's with the Sevelle line of stainless cabinets at ~$60 each and roll around benches with tops.

You would have to still find a top for those bases but they are nice.

Mine are mostly mix and match from the Re-sale store or garage sales

I bought the cabinet at Sams and its pretty nice. I wouldn't pay $1500 for those. They look more like kitchen cabinets IMO.

I offered 1k... with no luck. I'm not willing to pay more than that even though its alot of storage. I would rather build a work bench and use the overhead cabinets but hes not gonna break up the set.

You can do a lot with $1500. They look nice but I would not pay $1500 for garage cabinets. Build your bench and get overheads from lowes/menards.

If you do a search on the internet, you can find various plans for lower and upper cabinets. Spend a $100 bill and get a Kreg drill jig. A lot of members have built there own upper and lowers. One that comes to mind right off is Tripp's Garage. With a Kreg and some lumber, you can make yourself a heck of a lot of cabinets for $1500. I think even Kregs site has cabinet plans.

Here is a link to Tripp's http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=117392&showall=1
