Hi all.
I have started a small garage improvement company in New Zealand and are looking for manufacturers of cabinets, slatwall and tiles. We have access to cheap Chinese products but feel new zealanders deserve better. If anyone knows of manufacturers in the USA or Canada who would let us re -sell here in NZ please let me know.
Our website is a work in progress but here is the link.

Thanks all

well, I'll be the first to say what may be the truth, or I'm just not well informed.... you're gonna pay out the **** to have USA cabinets sent to NZ... and for an admitted small garage improvement company, that may not be in your best interest....
but, you might want to explain a little more of what you're looking for just in case... metal cabinets? solid wood? Particle board? etc...
are there any cabinet companies in NZ that may meet your standards, but lower the obvious shipping cost?
I'm all for USA made, but there's a reason why a LOT of stuff has gone to china made....
good luck with your venture though....

i would love to see the US start shipping again, but I don't see quality goods with shipping included going to NZ. $1800 is steep, but so is shipping.
If you find something let us know!

Cheers guys,
I know the expense of freight, I do believe there is a market for high end setups here though. I intend to use a local manufacturer for everyday products but are looking for a high end aluminum style, hence my interest in US products. As mentioned earlier I will also sell flooring and racking ie slatwall products.
Re the website, the pages are there but just have some server issues at the moment, and I'm also getting a more professional site up soon.
Thanks for feedback.

I have Moduline cabinets.. made an hour from me here in MA. They are super nice, and aluminum etc.. they are pricey... but if there is a market, I would look at them for sure.

I'm a distributor for Lista and can put you in touch with executive management. Lista is all steel construction, lifetime guarentee, 440# drawer capacity, and has an extensive/growing modular product line.

E-mail me at [email protected] and I can help.

For tiles, and I assume you mean interlocking floor tiles. SnapLock is the one.

Makers of Racedeck and GarageDeck (what I have, less expensive but still excellent).

I don't have any supplier information for you but I just wanted to wish you the best in your business. I'm no geo-political expert but it has always seemed to me that the folks from New Zealand and Australia have been highlly supportive of Americans and their products and I'm sure that there are others beside myself that are thankful for that.

Lista all the way!
I shopped all the brands for my job and Lista hit the mark.
Quality was spot on, price was competetive, and I sold the $200K of units to my Boss based on that.

Well if you're talking ultimate... don't forget Strong Hold.

There's nothing quite like 12-gauge steel construction and a 1900-pound-per-shelf capacity.

But lordy, they'd be expensive to ship.
