I need a cable (Romex) stapler, and hammering staples is out of the question. I have a lot of arthritic pain in my hands, so I am considering a battery power cable stapler. I have mostly DeWalt tools, and one Milwaukee PEX expander. I would have bought a DeWalt, but I couldn't find on and I happened upon a new Milwaukee kit on Marketplace for $175, including the battery and charger. Aside from price, which is the better tool and why. thanks junkman

I just did my new garage with the Milwaukee. I didn’t even know it existed till I was buying staples. It’s awesome. Saved so much time.

Classic case of six of one and a half dozen of the other. I'm sure both work fine. I'm team Red but team Yellow makes good stuff too.

It looks like the Milwaukee kit is M12 and $300 new.

The M12 platform is a game changer in some tools like this one, because the batteries are smaller and lighter. That will also work better with your hand issues.

Assuming it's the M12, I think that Milwaukee on FBM is a no--brainer buy. Probably someone who just needed it for a project. And if you want you can keep it, or sell it after your project for the same money.

I have the Milwaukee and would have bought one 20 years ago if they existed. It's worth every penny compared to how often you mash fingers and fingernails trying to do it overhead on your back in a crawl space. Money well spent but it will never pay for itself in use for me except in medical bills.

Guys, which staples do you prefer for flat 12ga 12/3 Romex to 2x4 attachment?
How about two Romex wires on top of each other?

Any chance you have a model # of your staple gun that works well with those staples?

Thanks.

Only Dewalt is rated for armored cable. I have had to use MC more and more. Hoping Milwaukee steps up.
