When I was doing low volt work I always used Panduit, carlon and Thomas & Betts (or tyco now) for our mounts

Panduit

I always just picked up what I needed from Platt or Graybar.

I think you will generally find that the holes are too small for your needs. Few cable ties NEED a 5/16" fastener to hold them...hence most size to 1/4 or less

On your link, min quant is 10... $12 to ship. Maybe you call and say 'could you just toss them into a padded envelope and mail them to me?'

Still, $20 isnt so bad

Those 3 brands all make tie bases with 1/4" - 1/2" holes for the base. I used them alot on server rack mounts, securing large bundles of cable and plenum ducts.

Root around, you can find part numbers with various holes and tie size ranges.

I go to Mouser for this kind of stuff. They ship small quantities and offer economy first class USPS shipping. They are fast, also and ship from TX.
