Just made this as a gift for my brother and niece. They have horses and thought they could use a good boot cleaning station. My niece loves cactuses, so it is really fitting I think. Just about done with it. Going to make a hanging sign to go with it, with the family cattle brand cut out. As an added bonus, I used my new hf mig215. I am very impressed, I think they have a winner on their hands. Very easy to setup and it feeds well. Even has power and work cables that are not cheap rubber and super short. Below it, I have a Lincoln Invertec 275, so I am used to good gear. Brother has a MM252 that I have ran quite a lot. Anyways thanks for looking.

Thanks. No I used a jigsaw with variable speed and orbit. It makes for a very clean cut with very little waste and no grinding clean-up. Just a flap wheel to polish the edges and take the burrs off.

Being from Arizona, I had no idea what a cactus boot cleaning station was. A cactus boot is where birds nest after creating a hole in a Saguaro...would anyone want to clean one of those?!

I can now see its likely for footwear, nice project.

I can understand your confusion. Language is funny like that. Strange how differently two people can interpret something for sure.
