Attached are pictures of a tool chest I had made for me by Cadillac. I always run into some wise guys that say " Hey, wait a minute. That's a Harbor Freight 44" tool chest. All that guy did was carefully remove the US General label and replace it with a Cadillac trim peice from the 70's." These people are obviously just jealous.

That's cool! My father has a bunch of emblems in one of his old tool boxes, just might have to repurpose one in a similar manner. (I don't know any one at GM that can make me a box like you had done. )

If Cadillac had made that, you would not be able to see the spot welds on their metal....I have one of their smaller, 5 drawer tool carts in my shop.

These guys don't know what their talking about! They will probably tell you a Cadillac is nothing more than a Olds 88 with a bunch of bells and whistles. Heck I'm sure I heard someone yesterday comparing a Chevy Suburb with an Escalade. :shocking:

I once put a Jaguar emblem on my lawn mower but had to take it off because it would never start. I stuck an MG emblem on my fridge and shortly (pun intended) the light stopped working.

I've seen a ram emblem put on a snap on box..no matter what you did to the box, it wouldn't move under its own power.

I saw a picture once of a motorcycle fuel tank with Evinrude badges on it. I did the same thing to a little Yamaha 650. Got some interesting looks and a LOT of questions.
