Cadmium and Evaporust?

I know cadmium can be very dangerous if inhaled so being very careful while cleaning is a must. My question is, is it safe to use Evaporust on cadmium sockets and tools to clean the rust? I’m going to give Evaporust a try for the first time and want to make sure there are no issues with using it on cadmium tools. Thanks everyone!

I have used it with no problem. It will affect oxide finishes.
