I was just wondering what is everyone's thoughts on the Snap on dent puller (or equivalent tool). I have a few dents on my work truck and I was wondering if it would be worth getting a tool rather then paying someone to do the work.

I saw the video that Joel ( Snap on Tool Review) put together and it looked like a pretty simple tool. I was just wondering if you get enough of a pull with the glue.

Thanks in advanced.

If you have a work truck and 6 or 7 other vehicles, I'd say yes.

But in in San Francisco, the most expensive place on earth, I can get a PDR guy to spend an hour on a car and make it look new for $120, and I don't have to learn the skill of using the tool.

That said, the wife and I are up to 10 cars, none of which are new...so maybe I'm getting a new tool.
