Caliper bolts stuck and allen socket rounded, UPDATE!

Can't find my old thread with almost the same name, why would someone delete that thread?

But the important thing is, I got the bolt out!

Some PB Blaster, some heat and a european style plumber wrench, and slowly it mades it way out!

Now there are new brake pads, new bolts and new Caliper Guide Bushings.
Coted with anti squeak and Anti-Seize in all the correct places!

I love when everyting is new and not tampered with!

Well, that is what we call them in europe, but I see that they are also as much used in the U.S.

I have never seen a European pipe wrench. Different.

Maybe they arn't that much used in the USA as i first thought... I did a google search on both pipe wrench and plumber wrench (as they are called in Norway), and the "American style" seems to be the most common.

The European one gives you a real nice grip as you tighten it with a extra handle.
Turn the nut for a tight fit and give it a squeeze, I guarantee you it won't loose it's grip

We call 'em "Swedish pattern" over here. Similar principle to waterpump pliers. (Like Channellocks.)
