I'm doing a brake job on my truck and one of the caliper piston boots is torn. I got a new dust boot and used a blunt punch to lightly tap around the edge to seat the new boot. despite me being careful, some of the rubber on the top of the part that's tapped into place is damaged.

What tool(s) are you guys using to seat caliper dust boots?

I use Oetiker clamp pliers. Similar to what you would use on PEX tubing

Yes, has a hard ring that seats into the top of the caliper with soft rubber that seals around the piston
