Calling all cabinet makers/carpenters

Ive got hold of sone awesome outdoor furniture, solid hard wood. Ive stripped it down to sand off some of the old paint but the bolt s etc are rusted out.
Does anyone know the correct name for the screw assembly that ikea loves to use that allows you to bolt through to end grain as pictured? Thanks

Many if not MOST futons are assembled with that threaded plug and machine screw assembly, so I'd check at a furniture.futon shop for them.

I needed some I lost for my big $$ futon last move, I but ******, I can't remember what they are called.

If you are in a hurry to replace (ie not shipped), they can be found sometimes at Lowe's in the hardware section. Look for the drawers marked furniture hardware.

They are called barrel nuts but are variants of the old bed bolts and can be interchanged.

Your local hardware store may have them as well. But only if they have a well stocked nut/bolt assortment area.
