Any MECP techs out there?
sounds like the farce known as ASE
As a wild *** guess, if you hold an A6 ASE cert I'd just go for master or advanced level tests.I am ASE certified, so I have had plenty of tech testing. Wondering if I should even bother with the Basic exam or just take the Advanced exam and get on with it...
So it's another one of those certs that "societies" make up to make it seem like your a professional and get cash out of you.Kinda like ASE and the one I just had to write, the IFPS.I could never understand why your governments in the states never came out with a mechanics license system like we have in Canada. It's a set curriculum, set amount of apprenticeship hours, standardized tests recognized nation wide.If you hire a red seal licensed mechanic you know he's got the same training and experience nation wide.We find it funny up here that people down there can just decide today that they are going to be a mechanic and start doing brake jobs and front end work. It's no wonder you have to be cautious about who fixes your car.
