Calling Floor Jack Guru's: Vintage Hein Werner?

Hello all,

I found this jack on Craigslist and the photos show it to be a Hein Werner. Description says it is a 4 ton service jack in working order, no leaks. Not very descriptive beyond that.

Anyone have any insight? I am admittedly ignorant when it comes to older hydraulic floor jacks. My dad had an older Hein Werner that I replaced for him with a new one, but they looked nearly identical to each other (2-ton).

I've not seen a Hein Werner 4-ton before, but I would guess they are similar to, and maybe share parts with, other jacks of that era?

If parts are available for this jack, then I think I might just go ahead and buy it. I just want to be able to service the jack if the hydraulics take a dump.

It looks to be pretty big, and I was originally just looking for a 2 or 3 ton jack, but at $75 (asking price), I might just buy this one.

Its a 4 ton, There was a couple varieties of that Series, So make sure you get the Correct seal kit (After looking at the Picture yours is a GH). The Seals aren't a Problem, Hard parts are few and far between and Pricey as generally they are sold as NOS. Again.. it is a Hein Werner, But its not serviced by the Current "Hein Werner" regime.

Please help me to identify my floor jack. see attached pictures. my uncle told me it's a 6 ton, but he painted and i cannot locate an id tag. not sure if this section is where i should ask this.
