I need one, mostly to torque the pulley bolts without damaging them, will it work on chrysler cam sprockets?

Not a bad price and the tool trucks buy the same brand and put there name on it

what wrong with chrysler camshaft? i work at chrysler dealership and have special tool from Miller tools. it is work good but for that tool from site maybe not work with it unless you would risk yourself...

I need it to hold cam sprockets when torqueing them after removing them. Mainly the dodge DOHC motors in the neons, caravans and intrepids. I need a better way to hold them while torqueing

I work on lots of different makes and models so i figure if this one can do both them i'm good to go

It would be nice to always work on the same shstuff over and over again as far as tools go(less tools needed) But dealership work seems very boring to me

It seems like every new job i do i have to buy some special tool or somthing.

The last one was the pressure plate compresser/holder to do a clutch on a Saab 900, everybody needs to look under the hood of a Saab 900 at least once in their life

You must have a big *** oil filter wrench, and you will be able to torque it to 95 ft lbs?

The cam sprockets on 5v VW and audi's are huge

The cam sprocket on the 85 jetta engine I have been tripping over in my garage for a while is about 5 1/2" in diameter. Definitely too big to get an oil filter wrench on. A good strap wrench might work in a pinch though. I had a piece of steel channel with two bolts in it that I made up once that worked pretty well. Not adjustable without drilling more holes but when I was doing a lot of cam seals it was almost exclusively on 1980s- early 1990s VWs.

If not, Just weld a couple of appropriate-sized studs to a piece of flat bar stock. I've got a couple of those, too.
