Campbell Hausfeld 60 gallon compressor

I found this compressor on CL and talked them down to 275.00 for it. They said it was only used for 6 months. They also told me I need to buy the side connection piece (these are not expensive are they? they made it sound like they were). Is there anyway to check if it runs if they do not have it connected? any thing else I can check when I go look at it?

My local Harbor Freight was closing out this compressor for $357. Add that 20% off one item coupon and you could get it new for less. See if your local HF has one.

Lowes usually puts this same compressor on sale.I got mine for $320 out the door at the end of last year.no,it is impossible to check it if it runs,if it is not connected.hard to turn the pump too cause it's enclosed.mentioned used for 6 months,see if they have the receipt,this way you can waranty if it has problems.imho,I'll offer him $200.

Around here, that would not be a particularly good deal. I see better for less nearly every week. Your results may vary.
