Does anybody know anything about air-tools sold / manufactured by Campbell - Hausfeld.

They seem a USA firm but have the odd stockist in UK. I understand they do needle-scalers , that I may be interested in.

Is Campbell-Hausfeld actual manufacturers or the normal type of importers

Thanks I has a sus , I normally use Von Arx (Swiss made) needle-scalers , probably the best but expensive.
Somebody told me he had just received a needle-scaler manuf. by Campbell-Hausfeld , I am looking for a small model for use where access poor on chassis cleaning, & wondered if C-H worth considering.

This is a Taiwanese cheapo NOS - I purchased it off eBay , Compair are / were part of a big industrial compressor manufacturer BroomWade. I think the Compair branded tools were good but not to best industrial spec.

Needle packs - same dims. as quality Von Arx or Trelawny.

Monte - I have found the details / dimensions for that tool on the Bosch web-site.

The polyamide handle should be a bit warmer on the hands - but I use gloves in any case. Weight / size - probably OK.

It seems to be a Zip type gun with a needle attachment. I tend to go more for the dedicated needle scaler esp. if it can take a scraper blade.

Will put it on my short-list.

I swore when I left sea duty the last time I'd never ever handle another needle gun... Never.

Working @ Bath Iron Works for so many years, the sound of those needle guns never go away. I got a guy with a walnut shell/glass bead blaster for rim's:thumbup:
