Hi everyone, I've been following this forum for quite some time, but finally decided to join you guys. I'm a 25 year old, college student, home mechanic from Belgium.
I'm planning on buying an air filter because I just bought an impact wrench, I can choose between a bigger air filter and a smaller one for the same money.
I was wondering if it would be best too choose the smallest one I can get away with, since the smaller diameter of the bowl will mean the air has to move faster, increasing centrifugal force, and thus filtering efficiency...
Some extra info:
*the models I'm choosing from are norgren F07 (0.5 bar drop at 15l/s) and F11 (0.5 bar drop at 35l/s).
*I'm a home mechanic so I won't be using 2 tools at the same time, I have a 133l/s impact wrench, and I plan on buying a sandblaster and a 20mm belt sander. All of these tools should be well within the limits of these filters.
