Can a lawn question fly in here

I had my daughters 2 dogs living at the house thru the winter. So we have a section of the lawn that took an unusually large amount of urine and ***** matter. Is there a god fertilizer or treatment process to help this area?

The urine is usually the problem. I've always used pelletized lime to conteract the urine. It helps, but there's no way to completely eliminate the problem if the dogs are still around.

As above, the salt from the urine is the biggest problem. Get some pelletized gypsum from a garden center and put it down according to instructions, that will help counteract the salt. Other than that, clean up the feces and use your eyes to see how the grass looks and if it even needs fertilizer.

I'm going to guess they were female dogs, as male dogs urine usually doesn't kill grass. Anywho, I would imagine lime along with new grass seed in those areas might be the best solution.

I was going to say a little lime and gypsum. And lots of water. We had the same problem in our yard, but it recovered a year to two.

Male dog piss will kill grass. I have dead spots in my yard and a male dog.
