Can all rust be removed?

I left my tool box outside, and rain got in it...

What can i do? or are they done for?

Buy a gallon of this. Pour it right in your bin, there. In the morning your tools will be squeaky clean.

That doesn't look to bad. Buy some evaporust and you should be good. You probably don't even need that. I used too use coke, and WD-40.

ultra sonic cleaner. or a rock tumbler with a very mild polishing media. or evaporust.

Even a rusty tool will still work. So this is not the end of the world.

That said, I hate rust. So if those were my tools, I hit them with a stiff wire brush, spray them with WD40, wipe them off, and put them back in a dry box. And I'd vow not to leave my tools out in the rain again.

A lot of that will clean right off with some #0000 steel wool.... which is the method you should use as pennance for leaving em out in the rain..
