Anyone use one of these? Im curious to know more about it. Doesn't really seem to be any discussion about them online. Is this an actual OBD2 scanner or is this something different?

Don't have tons of knowledge regarding cars but would like to learn, wondering if this would be useful. I got it for free so cost isn't an issue. Just wondering if I'd actually get any use from it.

All it does is read DTCs and tells you if your OBD monitors are ready before you take the car in for smog testing.

for that money buy a thinkdiag 2 and have 1000x more capability

I can't understand why MAC doesn't have a button on their website to download a manual for it.
