also, your better vises are machinists vises and will NOT have the built-in anvil

if it were a Wilton, it would say WILTON
and, by the way, being a genuine Wilton doesn't assure you of a good vise any more, they sell imported ****, and even their USA made vises have had quality control issues in the last few years, many threads about this here on GJ.
as far as I am concerned, the only Wilton vise deserving of any kind of great reputation are the bullet vises and just the old ones of those. And even the old bullets have no quality or performance reason to bring a premium over a similar Reed, Parker, Prentiss, Morgan, Athol, Columbian, etc. - but they do have a cool look that collectors will pay a premium for.
