Got it free from the neighbors. Wondering if it’s worth fixing up or not. Anybody know the maker or rough age?

I wouldn’t get to excited, The original Yasui based Jack has been copied to death. It originally was Manufactured in Japan, It utilized Wipers on Both the Pump/Ram, quality Rod surfaces, Thick cross sectioned Orings on the Pump Piston and Ucups on Main Ram which = Longevity. The design then transitioned to Taiwan Manufacturing and it was Decent, but generally lacked wipers and good plating. In the end.. China was mass producing them to appease US consumers and it was all down hill.

Without looking for the characteristics I mentioned earlier, I’m not aware of any markings. I will say this, I don’t ever recall seeing any Japanese models that where painted Yellow here in the states.
