Can anyone ID this logo

[Tool Pants]

In the second pic I turned the pic upside down, just in case it is a M instead of a W. Seller thinks it is from the 1960s, and has no other info. I do not see USA on it for what that is worth.

Those wrenches are Williams. As in Williams Super Wrenches. These must be much older than mine. They are still using the identification number that are stamped on(in) mine. They must have been using the same stamping machine. I got my set back in the early eighties. That was my first clue.

I doubt if they are very old, the logo looks too 'new age' for the 60's.

I've got a LOT of williams wrenches dating way back and never seen one like that. Not saying it isn't but that's a new one to me.

Those are the codes for Williams wrenches of that size.... This is the first time I have seen that style.... Good find!

Perhaps those are a special anniversery set of williams wrenches. I agree with others, they don't look old. Maybe 1980's or slightly newer.

I like the logo, very distinctive. Nice find!

I don't know the wrench, but I searched 1163 and it appears that several companies used it as for 9/16" combination wrenches, maybe a standard number?

From my father's tool box,I have one wrench with the same logo.It's a double open end,with the size markings 1-H-1033C-15/16.It's been in his tool box for as long as I can remember,and that goes back to about1965,from digging in his work box.I always thought Williams,but now I'm curious.

interesting wrenches, i agree they do look a lot like my superenches, however the emblem i am not finding... I did find a walden worchester that has the w enlogated, similar characteristics

I'm with Bull. I wouldn't have half my collection if I only bought stuff I could ID.

I buy lots of tools just because they look cool or unusual. i won;t spend much money doing it though.

It almost certainly is.

I'd guess that the fact that no one has yet been able to ID that logo is because it does not belong to a North American company.

We need our Aussie, New Zealand & Asian members working on this!
