Hello from New Zealand! With all the Snap on gurus out there in this forum I was just wondering if any of you know the likely vintage and former tool content of this SO tool case, and what it might be worth (I know, I know, how long is a piece of string!!). Looks like it had provision for a socket set of some sorts originally (though the tools were all long gone, unfortunately, by the time I picked it up at a yard sale last weekend). I am comtemplating restoring it and would like some background info if possible.

Any advice welcomed!

Cheers

Ahhhh, thank you Sir!!!

Searching that website it seems I have a K-80 Utility Case that originally housed a 1/2" drive Master Services Set or otherwise a General Utility Set anywhere from circa 1936 to around the end of the Second War.

Cost all of $1.85 way back in '36, but was already 5% more expensive by 1939 (at $1.95)

Wonder what that would translate to in today's inflation adjusted dollars!!

Also wonder how rare it is...?
