Can anyone ID this vise?

I have this vise that I broke the vise nut. I'd love to fix it.

I doubt it is collectable or valuable, but it was my great uncles in his shop before he passed.

It only has a 4 on it and I can't see any other markings.

Nuts can be a weak point (cast iron right?) on those.

If it can't be fixed or welded I'd look for a donor vise, should be cheap they don't carry a lot of $$ value used or new. I would test it before buying though, they all look the same but I've never tried to interchange parts on one.

Best of luck

Yes cast iron. I figure it isn't worth much and I'd imagine 80s may be right. Just wanted to get it working and keep it for personal reasons not value. The nut broke I to about 4 pieces. So welding is unlikely to work

Thanks.
