Okay you got me. I can't properly post a picture from a phone. Maybe it's me? Maybe it just can't be done. I honestly don't know. But anyways, snapmom got er done. Thank you for the assist! Moving right along. I just picked up this box, for a bit less than advertised. However it does need a little tlc, and also some hardware. I'd like to identify the box. Find out a little more about it. I'm planning on restoring the mechanical works. And I'd like to add more secure locks if possible. But it's unlikely that I'll be painting it soon, if at all. There's several boxes in the ad, mine is the one in the middle. The red one

The model number and year made are stamped on the back. I want to say kr 550, but I know that isn't right. That is a very common box.

If you are talking about the large box in the second picture down. bobcatdan is correct. Top is a KR550, bottom, a KR555, together a KR2105. Very large boxes (~36" wide, 20" deep, 67" tall), reference the guy standing next to them. I hear they are built like tanks. Hope you are not vertically challenged like myself.

Thank's guys. The first problem I'm having is getting the bottom drawer out of the bottom box. The slide is not like the others. Any ideas? This thing has years of crud inside and out. I've taken most everything else apart. Thinking of taking it to the car wash after I get that drawer out. Couldn't hurt could it?

Search snap on drawer removal. There are a lot of threads regarding this. I guessing the box is friction slides with the bottom one being ball bearing?
