Can anyone identify this Craftsman Drill Press by sight?

I am trying to obtain parts for an Atlas 74 that is missing a spindle assembly, motor pulley and the entire spring assembly. I found this craftsman for sale near me but I can't tell if it is equivalent to an Atlas. Looks like it.

Any ideas?

Yes, Atlas made that drill press for Craftsman. Better people than I know what equivalent Atlas press it is though.

Looking closer at that blue DP, it has the spindle with the single spline slot. That pulley would not work on your model 74. It also has a different and smaller spring/housing.

Can you explain this? I am worried about that. Single Spline Slot? Which part number is this: 63-6 or 60-6A? They look identical on the spec sheets drawings. Are these interchangeable?

I see what you mean. Upon further examination, the 74 doesn't have a splines spindle at all. It has the 61-4C spindle, and the splined spindle is 60-4B, which does not appear on the Atlas 74 list

Most drill presses of the era used a six-spline spindle. Your Atlas 74 is no exception.

Please add links to the parts diagrams

I believe that is an early Atlas Craftsman. It has a spindle with a single spline slot similar to a motor shaft keyway slot. The slot is not visible in the photos. It looks like a solid rod but the slot is there.

That pulley would not work with your six-spline spindle.
