I'm going to drive down on Sunday and look at this box. It's not as big as I wanted, but he's only asking 850 if I remember right. Anyone got any idea on vintage? Does it look like a decent buy, or are they going for less?
Thanks,
Nik

That's not a very big box, i would save you're 850 and wait on a bigger one there has been a lot of boxes coming up for sale, wait and get the one box that will last for you.

I agree. Craig's list here in Houston is starting to have a lot of truck brand boxes. I'd get something with some spare room (if you have a place to put it... I'm pretty much out of room in the garage...)

It could be any age from current to about 7 years ago. If it's not as big as you wanted, don't get it. You want a box that you can grow into rather than, having to look for a bigger box soon.

I think you should look for a "workstation" style box; don't put a top on it and you have a portable "work bench"! Its really nice to have a work top to work with; I have a top/bottom style mac and there isn't anywhere to put anything I'm working on! :) AAAAhhhh!

That box fits through a standard size residential doorway quite nicely; perfect for the bedroom. :D

You could have roll cabs in the kitchen for your utensils etc...Some in the bedroom for clothes(plus you could paint some hand prints, on the top of the roll cab, so your dates know where to put their hands and bend over). You could have another as a TV stand, and store your DVD's in, you could modify a roll cab for a sink, and put it in the bathroom. Not to mention a night stand for your "teddy bear" ratchets. The ideas are endless..a Hazet assistant for you toilet paper, toothbrush, shaving stuff. Might make a good Home Improvement episode.:lol_hitti

I'd say that Matco box is worth 450 bucks used. That is their entry level box, not a bad box per say, but nothing real special.
