Can't tell much from the photos, but that size vintage box generally goes for $25-$35 in my area. The question is, what are the tools worth? The photo is so grainy and small I don't know what you might have there toolwise, let alone what they might be worth.

You should go check it out, and size up the tools best you can. If they are reasonable quality and useful to you, use your judgement on the value of the tools and make an offer. Be sure to take at least $75 in cash and be prepared to bring the box and tools home.

color looks like a kennedy, but the drawer handles sure don't.

They look like the newer style handles to me. The wide center top drawer is what is trowing me, I'm not sure Kennedy ever did that. That style is more a mac or proto.

That box also appears to have a SO/Mac/MBC/Huot style front cover attached to the top. and I don't recall ever seeing a K with that...

Good catch, I completely missed that. I think really old Kennedys that size did, but I'm thinking that box is a lot newer. Anybody have any ideas what newer Hout boxes look liked before they stopped making them.
