Can anyone identify this vise?

It's missing the piece inside that the screw goes into so if anyone can tell me the name of that piece it would help to. I want to restore it but I need to find that part first.

It’s a nice old Vise for sure. Good luck finding that piece. I need some parts as well but some are as scarce as teeth in a chicken.

So it seems that I need a main nut with a dovetail flag. Do I have the words right?

Also, do I have to get an acme nut and weld it to a base or is there a place to get a replacement part?

I am pretty sure you are correct. Do you know which one is the model number? 122, 132, 71c

RI made vises for other companies so the model number is whatever those companies wanted on the vises. Very unlikely you will find the missing part, so you will need to fabricate one yourself or replace the entire spindle & nut from a donor vise.
