Can anyone identify this work stand?

This adjustable height stand is, I believe, from the thirties or forties. Three heights. I don't know what the lever would be used for. Please see pic. Thanks!20230725_110532.jpg

Looks kinda like my DeWalt table saw stand with a handle. Shin buster if your foot slips while trying to push it closed.

Is there anything under the table that the handle attaches to?

Damn, didn't see that was wood on my phone. Yeah, won't be holding a table saw.

No, it just swivels out of the way.

Kinda looks like an old drafting table with the top missing. They're usually more stable looking though. No idea what that arm is for.

I vaguely remember my grandfather and dad using one similar to this, no handle. They used it in bathrooms in the 50's. It was a simpler design. Mixed the wet concrete with lime to build the walls for ceramic install. But I don't know if that is what it was actually meant for. Anyway, thanks for the reply.
