Can I flush mount this BJ's LED shoplight?

I am organizing my garage at breakneck speed. I hate doing things that way, but that's life right now. I saw the COSTCO lights and these BJ lights on a thread. I went with the BJs, because linking them isn't critical for me and it had more lumens. Authorities are still looking for the ape that drop shipped these to me house, but they survived and work great.

However, I'd prefer to flush mount one of these. I thought I read that someone wrote it could be done, but I don't see how, unless I drill a key hole on each side. I only have about 4" of space, so i need to get as close to the ceiling, or flush if I can.

EDIT: i read they used to come with pre-drilled holes. I just need to figure out if I can drill through the spine of these lights without hitting anything. Maybe I can sneak small screws into the back and use a ready keyhole hanger...what could go wrong!

My question is, has anyone ever drilled into one of these? I don't have to go through both sides. I just need to break the surface and create a keyhole, so I can slide mount it to the ceiling.

Another option might be to mount an L bracket to end and secure that to the ceiling.

Thoughts?
