My main concern is heating the tools to 400 degrees. I don't think it'll hurt anything, but I figure I'd ask first.
I have a set of t-handle sockets, and I want to powder coat the top of the T handle, as well as the socket. After coating, I'm going to laser cut the coating with the size of the wrench. The socket will be red with a large "10" (or whatever the size of the socket is) in silver (the color of the tool.
So... is 400 degrees for 15 minutes too hot? If what I have read so far, I will not anneal the tools.
