Re: Can I show off to

I have been working like a mad man on this for almost two years now, its not even close to being done but getting real close. When I bought the place the shops were just empty pole barns the house part was very much turn key but still doing stuff in there, I have done so much it would be to long to list it all. I was so busy getting to were the shop is now I didn't do much about taking pictures and I really regret it now. Here's a few of how the office is shaping up so far, we are doing a big mural on the other two walls next week.

This is just after I put the paint booth up, I moved that bad boy tree times over the years but this will be the last. I had a few friends help with the tin on the ceiling but did the lighting and heat with just my sons help. The back wall was a overhead door that didn't work so I removed it and built the wall adding windows and a exit door. I also had a friend help me move the lifts no way could I do them myself.

Re: Can I show off to

Heaters were next first time I ever did anything like it but was frustrated trying to get some one to do the job let alone show up to look at and give me a quote. In hindsight I am glad I was forced to do it myself as I was with a ton of other projects around the new shop.

Nice shop, Ireally evvy all the space you have. I noticed your 13" lathe, it is the same as the one I have. Is yours a Dashin Prince or the newer grizzly version? I love mine.

I will take a few later for you, as for what I do that's a big long list but mostly high end collision work, custom paint and fabrication. I do almost everything in house because its so hard to find trustworthy and talented people like these days. My wife helps me with the interior stuff, I have one of the best pin stripers around and the best airbrush artist that work with my from time to time helping me with what I cant do. There is not much I don't do myself sometimes it takes a few tries but in the end its so much better than paying someone for a **** job, I can do a **** job to for less LOL a few time in most cases. I specialize in the things most shops cant or are not in the mindset to do. Right now its a 3000 hp pulling tractor paint job, cobra paint job and a few bikes getting custom paint. I don't want this to stray and come across as a sales pitch its about showing of what I have done to the shop because I am so pumped that I can finally do what I want in my own building, this is my first place that was not a rental.

Awesome - I didn't take this thread as a sales pitch. Like to see pictures of those custom paint jobs sometime as well - When you have time
