Can I tile over an epoxied floor?

I'm considering epoxing a utility room and there is a possibility of tiling certain sections of the floor down the road if I change the layout of the basement.

My question is simple - Can you tile on top of a floor that has been epoxied? I'm more than likely going to use a product from one of the big box stores as I need to get it complete ASAP. Maybe EpoxyCoat or even Rustolium as the floor is just going to be for storage and my reloading room.

dont know about regular tile but I used the snap-tile they have a menards. Put it down almost 3 years ago in the main bathroom over vinyl and it still looks great. Floats right over the top.

Yes, I did it in my laundry room on my old house. Lived there 7 years after and no problems. I just sanded it with a block to scuff (prob don have to) it a bit then put down morter and tiled away. As long as your epoxy takes should be fine.

If you are talking about regular tile, I would probably rough up the surface at least so the thinset has something to bite on to.

If you are talking about a Racedeck-type floor, you can put that stuff over anything.
