Can I write off tools?

Can I write off tools purchased for work? I've spent over half my income on tools alone this year so hopefully there is a way...

If you use them for work yes....If you own your own shop you get to over 3 years ( the bigger tools, mills etc)

Yep. When I had my own shop a few years back I even wrote off my racecar because I had the shop name on the car.
