Can it be salvaged ?

Seems most stories start this way. I acquired this compressor when we purchased our home. Past owner was a welder and this unit may have been cobbled together as there are no name plates or model numbers. You will see some ID #`s molded on parts. Looks like the original color was dark green before it went International red.
I would like to salvage this cool old unit. I rewired and plumbed it but it will not build pressure or slowly. When I dug into it I found one of the air ports had a broken spring and disc. Would anyone be able point me in a direction to acquire a 11/16th round exhaust/intake disc and spring as shown in pics ?

Any help would be appreciated !

Spring shouldn't be too hard. McMaster-Carr if you are in the USA or Spae-Naur if you are in Canada. The disc would be pretty easy to make on the lathe if you know someone. Turn bar to correct diameter and part off a thin slice. Your Location might help you find someone close. If not an accurate measurement on diamter and thicknedd and I could drop one in an envelope and mail it to you.

That can be saved for sure. You can get a spring anywhere and as already mentioned, making a new disc is trivial.

What is the condition of the tank itself - was it drained frequently? It looks old enough to me to be a concern for safety.
