Can pilot point drill bits be re sharpened?

I have a set of dewalt cobalt pilot point drill bits. the 3/8/ 5/16, and 1/4 are dulled. It cost nearly as much to replace these 3 bits as it does to buy a whole new set at Lowes.
has anybody ever tried to sharpen these type bits?

I've sharpened them, but eliminated the pilot point and turned them into regular drill bits.

You can sharpen them with a conventional grind, and do a split point.
