Can somebody recommend a good corded drill?

It will be used for stuff around the house for drilling wood, maybe once or twice a month.

I've found the following, I have a Black and Decker drill my parents bought in 1994 and it still works perfectly (it was U.S. made!), and now I'm looking for one with variable speed. After some quick browsing I found the following, but it doesn't look like there's much recent literature on corded drills:

If the Dewalt is that much better (I would rather pay $60 for a drill that lasts "forever" than $30 for a drill that will only last a few years) I will go ahead and get it:

Feel free to post any other suggestions in my price range :thumbup:

I would hit up a few thrift stores and try to find a nice older USA-made one.
I found an old SKIL brand 3/8" for $5, then had a new switch and 12' cord put on it. Pukey gray polycarbonate case, with the original sticker still on it - "No Time Limit Lifetime Warranty". My kind of tool!
