Can someone help me identify this vintage snap-on tool box?

I just picked up this tool box. Can anyone offer any information about it? From what I can see, it’s a vintage snap-on that was owned by a car enthusiast? If you’re standing above it, it says “Ford” in the top left corner, “Deluxe” in the top right, and “Plymouth Special Deluxe” in the bottom left. You can barely see the “Snap-On” that’s on the bottom center of the front.

That sucker has had a rough life, someone used and then abused it.

Well I guess taking of all those bolted on emblems is better then removing stickers. And good luck on whatever you plan on doing with it.

Looks like a mid 1930s K-24 or K-25 Mechanikit box. It's hard to tell because the pictures don't give me the right viewpoints to tell.
