Can someone ID this pump and explain what type of pump it is? My uncle received it as part of a bundle purchase from a machine shop that went out of business. It appears to be a hydraulic pump and reservoir, but this is foreign territory for me. Any ballpark estimates on what it's worth?

30 gallon tank

5 hp motor (3 phase) 1745 rpm

Thanks in advance for the help.

Ayuh,.... Appears to be a low pressure hydraulic power unit,...

I say low pressure, because the gauge only goes to 1,000 psi,....

More normal Hyd. pressures would be 'tween 2,000 psi, 'n 3,000 psi, or higher,.....

Looks like a fixed displacement rotary vane pump with a pressure relief valve on the output.

Hard to tell what the displacement is, I'm not familiar with Parker pumps.

Definitely a hydraulic unit to power any hydraulic operated machine. I've seen this type on carton packers, folders, etc.

You may want to look into an accumulator if the machine uses rams or large cylinders. I E trash compactors and such. Might work for s vehicle lift or small elevator.

Don't know what it is worth.

I feel a lot more like I do now, than when I got here.

It's a very old and has a pump that is no longer available probably no pump service parts available either.

If you had to replace it you be looking at thousands of dollars but the reality is it worth it's scrap weight.

I see lots of similar HPU on craigslist and they never sell and are always over priced.

My educated two cents.
