Can someone identify this tool?

I recently bought out the entire shop of an amateur woodworker. Most of the tools I can identify.

This one I can't.

It's about 4" wide, 4" deep and 12" long. Seems like just a bunch of rollers with a felt covered roller at one end (the biggest roller). Also has a cutting edge like a taping gun would have.

Any ideas what this is?

Some people use paper tape for holding veneer sheets together prior to installation. Don’t think it’s regular Kraft tape tho.

It’s usually not, but woodworkers routinely improvise, either because what they need isn’t available, or because it’s way too expensive.
(Ie. Christopher Schwarz and his glue tests made from gummy bears)
