Does POCO impose/disctate what type of disconnect should be installed?
Thanks to all electricians in advance

USA or Canada?

My Utility calls the shot on the disco when it's part of the meter base, and also sometimes gets fussy about a long unprotected feeder after the meter. Other than that, Code and local ammendments dictate. Also, CEC requires the main panel within the building served (for a dwelling unit) - not outside.

Reason to avoid? also is this built with feed through lugs so no need for extra 200 amp breaker to feed my main?
Bottom of the line, any other makes are fine, all manufacturers make mobile home/feed through panels.

GE used to be good back when they used TQD mains and the interior was less plastic.

The main they use now is junk. It's a stab in breaker. Last year I had a call for one. Panel was less than 5 years old. 200 main breaker would trip after a few hours of 120A load.
