Can water based dyed floors be sealed? How?

To be more specific. What sealers are best or would be contra-indicated over a water based dyed floor. I don't want the sealer to fail. Thanks.

On that note how would Legacys epoxy/urethane sealer system work over a water based Stain. Any downside vs the acid stains?

The manufacturer of the water based dye is New Look. They said there original water based stain can be sealed with other manufacturers sealers, but that they can not guarantee that other manufacturers sealers will work with their product. That is understandable. Based on my research, I prefer to use the Legacy HD6525 Acrylic sealer for my household garage needs, which are pretty basic. As such, I would like a water based dye that is effective at opaque staining and compatible with HD 6525. My conclusion is to go with one vendor for all products which means I either need to go Legacy or New Look. Both seem like great companies, but each one has different specializations. Thanks for the help those who chimed in. I had no idea how involved my research would get on product options and am learning a lot.
