No, If Uploaded as a thumbnail only, I find the site will resize them.
They say there is a size limit to JPEG, but again, I find they seem to resize them self's.
But if you want to enter the picture as an image in the text body, then yes, they need to be made smaller.
Irfin view is a good viewer, and editing tool.

Let's see.

attachment.php
That size works, It's 519X 389, when I saved it.
so if kept small, It's OK.
See again, My problem if if I take a picture with my phone, save it to my phone, and upload with tap a talk, it's too big when I see it on my computer.

That was a pic I had already reduced^

You are correct though Bubinga. The auto resizer worked. I just uploaded a full size photo from my PC but it took probably over a minute, as opposed to a reduced image taking a few seconds. This must have been fixed 3 years ago when Ryan announced it  I used to get a message saying upload failed or something.

Hence the reason I started reducing them all using MS Paint in the first place.

I'll have to try 7 photos at once.

I never tried tapatalk, but if I could just figure out the IPAD. I can only post one thumbnail per post.

Thank you guys! I didn't know how to use the thumbnail URL like that.
The one thing no one mentioned: When you go to copy and paste any URL to the link icon or image icon, don't you have to erase the http:// that pops up in the bar before you paste a link? Some may not realize that.
Right, basically Yes you do!
Generally, I copy the link, and tap the Insert image button,
and the http:// is highlighted.
Then I just hold down Ctrl. and tap v and that pastes it over top the Highlighted http://
if you use photo bucket, and pick the image link and copy it,
You just paste it here, you don't have to use the insert image button.

Right.
No, but with Tap a talk on android, you can up load one after another.
But I have to see about the option a poster spoke of, of picking 3 different sizes, :headscrat cause like I said, If I post from my phone, they are usually too big here. And they are not a thumbnail of course, just in line.

As a thumbnail in a post. Took probably a minute and a half though.
That's odd, I have never seen one that will not upload.

I can resize on a PC, but the ones I'm talking about, come from my phone, and stay on my phone, and get uploaded right from the phone.

OK lets see what happens here,
This one is 3.61 MB and 4288 X 2864

GJ Cut it down to
jpg.gif
Testxx.jpg (144.8 KB)

And when I saved it , it was 1283 X 857
EDIT,
But Yeah, If you want the image in line,I think using the image link,
I thing 800 X 600 is a good size.
(it's 80.5 kb)
Is this too big on any-one's PC?
attachment.php

If so, we might have to use 640 X 480.

Well I tried something different. Uploaded as an attachment. Never did that from my phone.
EDIT.
uploaded as attachment, showed up 2 times for some reason. (well there was two pictures) 1 is gone after edit.
